Note: Tables were created by measuring bullet
velocity 15 feet from the muzzle then calculating energy using
industry standard formulas. These
ballistic results wee obtained using G-series Rifles with 22-inch
shallow groove, fast twist barrels.
The loads listed herein are meant for White Rifles only.

The
preceding ballistics table (velocity and energy) were created by measuring
bullet velocity 15 feet from the muzzle (muzzle velocity), then calculating
energy using the standard ballistic formula.
The 100 and 200 yard figures were extrapolated using standard ballistic
tables and known ballistic coefficients. All
calibers are listed in the traditional two decimal format.
The actual sized bullet diameter may be different, as below:
.41 cal;/ = /.409,
.45 cal. = .450,
.50 cal. = .5035.
(WHITE)
production muzzleloading rifles were used, with loads of Pyrodex P powder (P)
by volume equivalent, using either a Power Punch (PP) bullet or PowerStar (PS)
Saboted bullet.)
ADDITIONAL
BALLISTICS- can be found in the chapter of Doc's book entitled. "Best
Loads". Go to the 'Books' hyperlinc above, then
